This house is most definitely NOT a condo on the slopes!

Our large, 3-story, year-round, rustic log vacation home will accommodate up to seven couples or one or two families. There are private sleeping spaces (all queen-size) for up to five couples and semi-private sleeping areas for two additional couples.

The perfect size group would be one, two or three adult couples with maybe up to five or six little guys.


The house is located on 21 private and secluded acres on the Lake Ninevah Road, less than a mile from gorgeous and pristine Lake Ninevah, an approximately 200 acre wilderness lake. We are seven miles from Okemo and about twenty miles from Killington, in the heart of Vermont ski country. We are less than 250 miles from mid-town Manhattan (usually under 5 hours by car). The Amtrack "Ethan Allen Express" runs daily from Penn Station to Rutland, Vermont, about 20 miles from the house.

WHAT WE ARE: A lovely, year round vacation getaway house on an unspoiled non- motorboat historic mountain lake. 100 ft. from the water. Our house is perfect for 4, which we base our rates on. Fly fishing in the Neversink River...begins in early spring. 3 min away. Lake has small mouth bass, perch and pickerel and cat fish, froggies (we stopped eating them). Wild turkeys and fox and deer (not so deer), bear, herons, eagles, ospreys. Guaranteed: stars and dark sky.

Lots of wildlife recreation; All year round: The Nature Conservancy; Neversink River Preserve, Basha Kill Preserve, (spring through Nov)Neversink Valley Area Museum; Weekly and monthly auctions in area, fishing, hiking, concerts, lectures, local vegetable (spring -Fall); flea markets, community breakfasts, live music(year round); Tennis courts in town;Horseback riding in valley.
